services

overview

Our goal is to assist each individual in becoming self supporting, independent and

self reliant. Each client is also expected to take responsibility in routine tasks around

the Center (cleaning, laundry, serving, etc.). By doing chores and honoring a commitment they can begin to take responsibility for their own lives. The Center helps its clients move forward through the accountability of individual case management. By setting realistic, progressive goals, that our clients are then responsible to meet, we assist

them in learning how to change their lives, one step at a time.

Open from 9:00am to 12:00pm, Monday through Thursday for Client Services (Closed on Fridays), and 1:00pm to 4:00pm(Monday through Thursday), the office is also open from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for case management, coordinating assistance with other private and county services (some listed below). Saturdays, the Samaritan Center provides clients with breakfast, shower facilities, clean clothes.

Please Note: The Samaritan Center does not support panhandling of any form. We encourage residents to direct their contribution of cash, food or clothing to The Samaritan Center or another non-profit organization that is working to end homelessness in Simi Valley.
